And the Candy Crush push is not inherently terrible, it opens access to a market 5-10 times larger. The problem is putting in systems in such a way that the interests of the casual crowd and the serious crowd are mutually exclusive - like making Elite the standard because of bravery streak and Favor rewards, then putting in champions in a way that are barely a speedbump to the serious players and devastate the casuals - too little for one and too much for the other.

Having champions replace Dungeon Alert would have served both groups well, the current implementation satisfies neither group.

Of course, there are some players who just want to polish their epeen and bash casuals, and some that think they should be able to do as well as the best players without putting in the work, but most players on both side would be happy to live and let live if only Turdbin would stop pitting them directly against each other.

The PC is a big laugh and stunt to be able to say they listen to "feedback" while being able to ignore people in the main forums, like has been said if they seem to listen at times it is because that is the direction they wanted to go.  Not to mention I would guess they will have more ass kissers in the PC than not.

Well I hope that Flav, Meli, and Thaz get the right of refusal for a second term, it's gotta be more productive to have some members who know the ropes. Flav has tech savy, Meli has great people skills in game and on the forums, Thaz as well.

Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not Cordovan, not sure where you guys get this stuff. Jumping at shadows at this point. Can't see why he would come here, unless he wanted to feel abused.

And yes Meli does have good people skills, she takes the time to reach out and help new or shy players, and shows them a way to succeed in the game without exploiting. So to me that is pretty good with people.

I've not read all of this thread in fairness but I find it hilarious that people are trashing the fact that Fran is on the PC (and Fawngate, he's on the PC IIRC?).

Those people might not be your idea of teh uber players but I bet they spend a shit ton of money on the game. Certainly more than me and I would never claim to be uber. They want player views to bring the bucks in. The updates to the cosmetic skins I think are decent and would have paid for a couple of years ago, before my oomph ran out.

Turbine's agenda is just different from yours. Deal with it.

Not on her server sorry, so not judging her on ingame behaviour.  I don't believe I have commented on her gaming skillz, her generosity or her beneficence towards newbies.

Meli could be the most wonderful person in the world to you, but her behaviour here towards other speaks volumes sorry.  And the topic that Cordo brought up was how great her people skillz were, which reminded me of an incident earlier this year.
This would be the same Meli who got offended by a Vaultie, ran to Cordo, dobbed on them and had her master ban them in DDO for something they said on another forum? 

Meli then came here to brag and has expressed no remorse whatsoever.

Tere - its only on the vault that it's pretty toxic. In game and on the forums no one knows and no one cares you're on the PC mostly. Except from time to time people will ask you to ask for stuff on their behalf - which I make sure I do when I can and it's relevant to the discussion and will be heard. So if you say gave the vault a wide berth during your time there it would be fine.  If you are curious about it apply. I don't actually think it's much more than a slightly more advanced Lama mostly. I suspect it was meant to be something else but with staff changes it hasn't happened that way. Getting to know the staff a bit more is interesting - I have a lot of respect for how intelligent, responsive, creative and hardworking they are from what I've seen. It's going to be very sad days when some of the best ones leave :/ .   I think your input would be good and you would be an asset to the PC and I would like the best for DDO.
