I don't go pure for the sake of being pure. It's not my fault they started adding compelling capstones to classes. I had a Cetus-style centered Kensei, monkcher and plenty of others back when multiclassing was the best option.

Also, only half of the builds I've posted are pure.

Pure:
Fighter, Shuri, Pally, Barb, Warlock, Ranger

Multi:
Wolf, Mech, Assassin, Swash, Monkcher, Pastlife

Are the pure builds better? Or do they just get more attention?

It is more damage. Like the other guy said, swash stance equalizes the crit profiles of the usable weapons and none of the TF or GS weapons that you use at endgame have an expanded crit to take advantage of so pulverizer puts light mace in the lead. This doesn't preclude you from using any of the excellent keen piercing weapons with expanded crits while leveling (e.g., Tiefling Assassin Blade, Balizarde), but Skullsmasher and Mournlode are also decent choices.

I used to write out everything on paper, but then to often I couldn't find them when reincarnating/leveling and didn't have them with when I wanted to work on them. If people wanted to actually discuss, that would be great, but in practice it's mostly troll drama responses. Still, if you've got questions, I've got answers. This is a minmax DPS build like my others. I believe it to be the best available right now, but I'm not necessarily attempting to convince anyone of that.

I agree with the other thread.  12f if you have enough displace clickies, otherwise 12b. I might swap over to str-based if you were 12f and pick up stunning blow.

I'm not convinced, however, that the AP investment FFS has is the optimal choice.  Namely, the DPS increase you get from SB comes mainly in the form of exploit weakness, which gives about 8% melee crit, and resonant arms.  Kensei's advantages over SB for DPS comes in the form of 20 passive MP and power surge if 12f.

Also, is it worth keeping 11 in Vanguard?

I'm curious if anyone's done the math there.  The AP on this build is just so damned tight.
