	Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

	Were you testing it in a public area? Doesn't city regeneration overwrite the larva thing?

	Tested just now, got a total of 57 sp over 2 minutes. Time to bring this up on the MoBos and see what ridiculous excuse they come up with? (Tested in quest, with no echos)

My method was to enter a quest, cast a bunch of spells to get my SP down by at least 200, hotbar the larva, and start a stopwatch and the larva at the same time. It was usually exactly 2 minutes with the first tick failing to produce any SP but subsequent ticks landing exactly every 6 seconds and granting 3 SP each. The total SP granted was just my ending SP - starting SP. I was also alone in case it was something stupid like a bard song or pally aura, and I tested on 2 Low level characters in case a destiny or SP cost reducing gear was causing the problem (like War Wizards set bonus). One of my test cases was a level 4 fleshy arti without any metamagic feats or enhancements, specifically to rule out interference.

I'm so rarely playing these days I can't remember the last time I noticed how much it gave

	Wouldn't be surprised if they also nerfed the already abysmally low rate at which you can get it in the quest as well.

While I would not be at all surprised if this were a deliberate change, the things were not rare unless you never put in the minimum amount of effort to farm one up.� They are not rare in the same category as a ring of spell storing or that thing from weapons shipment, not by a factor of 1000 or so.

And I've run a few dozen weapons shipment and tried the rare in sands many times with zero luck. It's a fringe item. Useful if you have a lot of time to gather them up before a run, but not so useful otherwise. I can't recall the last time I've used mine, even thought the 1 min psionic bonus to spell power isn't bad at all. Places like MoD or CitW are probably places people should use them in advance as a counter to the mana drains.
