This line in specific was thrown in after I argued against nerfing warlocks when the clear problem is other spellcasters are severely lacking. Up until that point the thread was several pages of warlock hate circlejerking, a few attempts at civil bargains, and yeah. Starting to think things are going in a very interesting direction.
Interesting how? ES Warlocks weren't great DPS anyway, even in heroics. They're still pretty
much just as survivable as they were. It's now harder to for weaker players, newer players
and players without hordes of gear and ingredients to get up to an acceptable performance
baseline. Was the problem that people were chugging through their RTR's too fast?
This is a very minor speedbump to experienced blasting Warlocks but will be seriously annoying
to others. I've chucked in both my subs and the 450 quid I had saved up (I allow myself
150 quid to spend on games) for the next points sale is going on something more rewarding
- like a belt sander for my dick. SSG/Turbine need to stop listening to blowhards on the offy
and their 'extensive internal data' - which is Jerry sleepwalking his way through Casual LoD or
something. This game already seems to be in a death spiral - constantly giving in to the crab
bucket mentality is not going to help.
For the record, I don't play a bursting Warlock. I think the AA changes would've affected
me more.
