I have little to no past lives on one of my toons, and I'm looking for a Max dps shuriken build. I know it won't be best until I get more past lives but I'd like to get a build going. It needs to be able to dish out damage at cap and maybe take a hit or two, not really worried about that though. I'm just looking for a shuriken build to stay at cap with. I'm not apposed to multiclassing.

So, when Lama was up, I tried out a no life shuri, and wasn't getting anywhere close to that.  No doubt because I don't know how to play them. 

I wouldn't mind a bit more detail on this one, too.  AP breakdown, and what rotations you're using to get the time down that low?   

And how are you getting up to 100 dex on a new toon?

20 base
8 tome
7 level
20 gear
9 insight
4 quality
1 exceptional
2 profane
2 racial ap (assuming you can fit this in)
2 Harper ap
2 Ninja Spy ap
2 Ninja Spy capstone
2 Filigrees
4 tensors
= 89 dex w/ max buffs.

14 monk/6 ranger Halfling Fury - hands down

I'd probably do 8 rogue/6 ranger/6 monk with vistani scourge to get the 1 rogue pl if you don't have it though. (would not keep at cap)

Anyways, you don't want to go pure 20 monk and fury. Losing active attacks from ranger and dws T5 is like a kick to the nuts.

If you really want to go pure 20 monk, go LD its better in that situation though it still sucks balls compared to 14/6 fury.

Read through the multiple long shuriken threads. All of the arguing will show you differences in the builds. Just keep in mind as you from the beginning that some of the information has changed from what you read.

I had the 2 fighter split back when AA stuff worked with them, but the loss of bows and need to go helf, means you are far better off going 14 monk / 6 ranger over the 12 monk / 6 ranger / X splits. The only caveat is if you need trapping skills than go 13 monk / 6 ranger / 1 rogue.

I would absolutely, 100% not go shiradi though. It is SUPER SUPER SUPER weak.

probably just should if you're not in a guild with people filling roles all around the party. and makes leveling easier and faster. you can level as a tempest until you hit 20. Grab sswords or daggers, use vfk tree or ninja spy, and rely on free improved 2wf and use 10k and manyshot as ranged bursts.
