If its worth anything, I know him, hes a straight up player, he wont partake in any exploits himself, but also wont report you for using them, or even be upset about it (my speed run shroud back when cannith crafted wraps = infinate procs)

Martens was a bit behind the times when he came back a couple of months ago, but I trust him to listen to what I have to say , test stuff for himself, be objective and not be a yes man.

A NDA ball gag means that Turbine can always "bring out the gimp" on anything put before the PC regardless of how they vote. Nothing they say or do will matter except for perhaps a token win or two to empower them to accept all of the things that won't be changed because they have already been decided by Turbine. I am not sure that you understand the purpose of this "council". It is just a way for the dev's to garner some measure of player response before spending alot of development hours.

The forums are full of players responses. Jerry does not need a fucking focus group to know what players want. He only has to read the forums or listen to the community. How many years have we asked for bank space? How many years have people wanted housing? How many years have we wanted a one and done buff spot on ships? How many years have we bitched about ladder bugs and the huge pile of other broken things? If they really gave two shit's about what we as a community wanted then they would bounce ideas off of us collectively on the mother forums and not Jerry's circle jerk club. The corrective action plan is as broken as the communication. It's kind of insulting that after all this talk of improving communication the plan put forward involves being chosen, NDA's and secret forums. The PC's opinions will be taken as serious as the opinions solicited on ML or Lam.
