Makes you sad to see how a dev plays ddo, like a new player who doesnt understand value of self healing.

More like a self-centered jerk who can't be bothered to do even cursory research on his character configuration or the demands of the quest.

Why wouldn't they require employees to spend at least 10 hours a week playing the game that pays them.  Playing straight without hacks or dev power spawned gears.
Granted someone could play 10 hours a day and still be a clueless waste of pug months later; but you'd think they would learn something.
Doesn't he read the forums before going banhammer on everyone?

As Cordo is a former player, I would have expected him to have enough interest in the game to at least be prepared.  Sure the content is new, but how hard is it to spend 15 mins prepping a toon and gear using dev codes?

I guess he has too much fun ban hammering everyone (and lurking here) to be bothered playing anymore.  Pretty sad.

When did cordovan become a dev?  I thought he was just a forum dog.

If he is still just a dog and not a dev, why do some of you people keep calling him a dev?  Do you not know the difference?

Dev is shorter than Forum Dog. It doesn't really matter what position he has in the Turbine company. They all should play the game that pays them to prevent such videos. How can one take any of these people serious if they don't know their game. How can faith into their work be established when they play the game like that? If Cordoban plays it like that, then how do the Turbine employees play that don't appear to play on twitch.tv? Maybe Cordoban is the best they have  Undecided

He's not a dev, some ppl use "dev" to mean "employee". I believe Cordovan's title is "Community Manager"? So, forum admin etc.

A forum moderator or mod isn't quite the same as a dev.  The mod, cordovan specifically, is told what shit to tell us.  He probably doesn't get to have much input in making the systems work.  He may work for Turbine but that doesn't mean he actually knows what is being done in the game.  Dude probably doesn't get the same kind of info that the person that leaked to Ink gets.

Basically, a mod is just told what shit to shovel to the masses without knowing anything, devs actually make the shit that cordo is shoveling and should know something about what they specifically worked on but are too fucking retarded to be able to do anything except break shit that works.

Even if they do know something about the game, they are Turbine employees.  I think they are required to be retards(no offense to retards as retards are obviously a much higher caliber of intelligence) to work there since they can't seem to get their shit together with the game.  You can have all the info about the game at your fingers but if you don't know how to use it, you are still going to suck.

This helps to explain why the devs do such a crappy job at designing healing classes.

They really do believe it's either store pots, cure pots, or a cleric standing behind a pillar to throw heals.

Don't worry about people.
They would call women cleaning at turbine office devs too.

You're damn right I would, if the female custodial staff were responsible for liaising with the player community.

Cordovan represents (among other things) the corporate and development culture within Turbine to the player base.

When a company chooses someone to be their voice and face, if that person looks or sounds like an idiot, it reflects badly on the entire company. Not just the HR goon who hired them.

What do they call the male cleaners?  Producers?
