Sorry, but this is dumb. You can make an argument for manyshot, but there's simply no way that adding half the bonus from 2 off stats can exceed 2 Str + 10 melee power + 5% proc (~50 damage per attack) + 25 damage with 50% uptime.

Oh, and the crit range comes from EDs, so it is obviously not a factor as long as you're in LD or DC.

Hmm...

You're actually missing a bit more DPS from the feats you aren't spending on ranged stuff in order to further make your case.

The only non-dps feat I took in the current layout is Heavy Armor Proficiency.

I have had a 18 barbarian / 1 ranger / 1 fighter when they first revamped the whole enhancement system using the old blitz to inflict massive ranged damage upon my enemies, in case manyshot was off timer every now and then. But after the nerf to masters blitz it is just not worth it anymore to be honest. You are better off sticking with a pure barbarian nowadays.

You seemed to have misinterpreted my comment. I was making your point.

And btw - why heavy armor proficiency. It's only 10 more PRR (like 2% damage in your PRR bracket) yet you lose like 6% dodge.

Heavy armor is for MRR, not PRR. I was thinking about swapping it for another weapon focus feat though, assuming they stack.

Keeping the helm, but I've actually been using the shadow striker armor for 3% dstrike. Thinking about swapping it for ToEE armor so I can swap EE shadows for a DPS ring. (Assuming that I can find one that adds more than DPS than 3% dstrike does.)

Definitely most dps as melle you can dish out atm and best barb build currently for my preferd playstyle.
I wonder how long it will take til they nerf it tho
