As I do not epic reincarnate, I have no idea.

A friend had this problem: 6th epic reincarnation, fate points and epic destinies were deleted.

Some clues?

Edit: Asking a GM or putting a ticket is maybe not so good idea. He has duped his socks.

It can happen with any type of reincarnation.
I know someone who did lr at lvl 20 and lost all karma, all ed xp, all ed points wiped, everything epic wiped.
Gm gave it back, but in wrong destiny or something like that.
If he has duped so much, tell him to transfer or delete stuff from that char, and wait few days to contact gm.
They dont look for exploits when you contact them, but if you have like 10k sov pots on that char, it will be suspicious.

The fact that this continues to be an issue is beyond belief.  I understand it is not frequent, but you hear it enough to worry.
Sure, the've got some kludgey workarounds for restoring XP and Karma.
But the onus of proof is generally on the player!
I find this the most insulting part of the broken process, and completely consistent with the principles of Turdbine CS.


So the Turdbine system fucks up, and it is the player's job to keep records?  Right....

Many people have lost items and never had them restored, and it would appear that some have.  Inconsistent resolution process.
Can you imagine what it would do to a player to have their toon irrevocably corrupted or losing farmed items?
It would probably make them leave the game out of frustration.

They have made TR a key part of their strategy, so they should find and fix the damn bugs.  This is not a minor part of their revenue stream and player retention mechanism.  It should have been sorted ages ago.

Pending fixes, there should at least be a backup taken upon TR that GM's can reference and use to restore (manually I suspect), but at least the burden of proof is not on the player.

Anyone notice that this issue seems more prevalent since u24 went live?

Submitted a ticket which promptly got closed.

Submitted online, and never got a response.

This is how they'll lose the few remaining players left, one by one!

It's pretty sad that GM/'s and CS are allowed to blow players off like this without understanding the implications.

I've had two bad TRs, the first time it happened was heroic TR into an iconic and I lost all tomes. GM was actually very helpful, asked me what highest level tome was and then gave me a supreme for each level. Also gave me an extra heart and timer reset.

Second time lost all destiny points in an epic TR, GM was also very helpful, no questions asked recapped all my destinies and all my karma, which was really nice. Ran back up to 28 in my best destiny.

Maybe I was just lucky, but my experience with GMs was pretty fucking good on those two occasions.

Other times I've opened tickets, meh. But I guess they don't want to screw around with the TR runners.

In the likelihood customer service can't do jack, are there any dupe methods that still work for phlogiston?
