For a 14/6 Paladin/Fighter Bladeforged, is it better to go THF with a greatsword or SWF with a longsword (w/Knight's Training)? I want a decent balance of AOE and Single-Target damage, and I'm planning on grabbing the Cleave feat line either way.

Yes, I'm still updating this build. Tested out FotW vs DC. Fury damage was good even without adrenaline, but had big to-hit problems.

Then swap to elf with precision and displacement. Paladins have base healing, so you don't need to be BF. Also swap to vangaurd + SaD because that doubles your utility and lets you effectively tank.

I wasnt planning to comment on the build as its clear 5FS doesnt build for R10 Sharn and reaper raids. Im sure its excellent for soloing low reaper

Gilga's PDK fatesinger Cha based works well too. Tried both, i prefer PDK.

The 41/31/8 PDK enhancement split is cool with a zero racial lives toon. I dont use stunning blow, as i am far from Gilga's stats, and slot artifact bracers from Gatekeepers instead of the str one.

Only real downside is the lesser heart +1 when you want to TR to reset first time bonus...After 1 life and my first 30 reaper point i am pretty about it !

It may be easier to triple dip Charisma going that Gsword route with PDK for better tactics but I can assure all that ever since CAF "nerfix", this particular build lost a lot of its luster (tons of turn charges to melt bosses). Reflection loses charges when swapping and Constellation is only 5.5[W] with Fetters being the only usable debuff. All the other curses are super shit low procs.

Str-based Silvanus PDK with Tremor is the best DPS now, only downside is having to twist legendary tactics to keep SB and Trip in no-fail zone.

Fatesinger is dope tho. Even LD isn't that good with all the custom tailored shit for Mauls.

Agree, it's not the same anymore but still fun. I am thinking of tremor since the nerf, have to farm it...

No. Speaking about R10, dailies or not, depend with who you play, plus i spend point in saves and PRR/MRR in sacred defender, not in threat. Zero problem with aggro. When you pull it, meld is here to save your ass. My toon have only a few heroic/epic lives, zero racial, and doing fine.

Then your dps is ass. Sacred defender now has an in built 150% bonus to threat.

And ? 150 % threat is nothing when some ppl can get high threat / dps and enough defenses to tank...Oh you know some builds called tank have intimidate too...

It's obvious shit advice to reduce your threat when you r 1st life noob. Perhaps in that case you dont do R10 or carried with ppl that dont care at all about your shitty 1st life threat...

Considering a proper tank is going to have like 2k% threat gen these days, I'm not worried about leaving defensive stance on all the time.

For those of us who don't get to raid anymore, do you have a gearset that doesn't require raid gear? I know it wont be strictly as good.
