It's basically saying that the bar of expectation is so low, that any communication is better than before, so let's praise them for deigning to speak with us.

So they don't know, and the comments look like genuine praise. If they banned him and he complained to WB, the DDO staff would come out looking like hypersensitive crybabies with too much time on their hands. And of course there is always the possibility that they are so stupid they think it really is praise.

	Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

Yeah, I suppose you're right, that is the simplest plausible explanation. And Sev does come across as moderately competent, just a supremely arrogant jerk. Well, I had some brief enjoyment imagining they understood the sleight and were frustrated by their inability to swing the ban hammer in response, I guess that's my quota of DDO fun for the week.
