1) MOAR quests
2) Something worthy of the moniker "End Game"
3) Less dumbing down easy buttons, more think to win.

Since they are never gonna fix anything really, why not just enjoy what they do give us aka warlocks. Their spell list looks so cool!

PS I said cool, not good!

We're agreeing here.   I'm just saying we can't have the Moral Majority anymore, so we'll have to settle for the PMRC.   Grin

People keep saying content, but the game is already so huge. There is so much content that I have not touched in over a year. I cant remember the last time I stepped into the Vale or Sands. House C quests are empty. Nobody touches Dragontouched armor.

I'd like to see new races, a feat pass and a loot pass.

I agree that there is lots of content that could do with a refresh, but it does thin out at cap and they need to keep pushing content into the level 28-30 if they plan to raise cap this year.

Doing a loot pass would help bring some of the old content back to life.  Tweak the XP, make the loot interesting/useful at various levels and maybe that content would come to life again.
Hardly any new players have or will get GS items, so that is not a concern.  Focus on RNG loot and BTA / BTCOE gear for low to mid levels.

I'm not sure revamping the S/S/S epic items is worthwhile, as no-one really lingers around 20 anymore, and the useful of the items is eclipsed by lvl 22-23 (in some case lvl 15)..
The system worked well when the cap was 20, now the S/S/S is defunct unless you make the items uber and then you have the power creep problem back again with lvl 20 items being more powerful than higher level items.

As a casual player I really hate the S/S/S system, but I can see how it might keep the grind alive when the cap goes to 30.
Make the elements rare but tradable of saleable and I think you would be golden.  I know that idea doesn't appeal to the elitist few who view rare gear as a badge of honour (when all it means is that you have far more time than others), but it would stimulate all player types and the economy as well.

Hmm. What if they made S/S/S more accessible (trade-in style), keeping the level 20 items the same, but also added an extremely rare level 30 upgrade to each?

So you mean epify the old Epic items with another tier of upgrade to ML30?
If so, then it certainly has some merit in that it does not alienate your older hard core players who grinded for all that stuff.
So one group would be happy.  I'm guessing the people who got that stuff, ran out of storage space and discarded it because it was no longer useful would be a tad ticked off though.....    Undecided

Your other suggestion could tackle the accessibility issue for other players.
Not sure what the right balance would be, but a combination of trade in and tradable would be good.  Trade-in on its own could still be restrictive as you have to grind for x numbers of shards to trade in.  Also, I'm sure Turdbine want to keep some items rarer than others even though in today's game it doesn't make sense (eg eRoSS).  It all depends on the detail I guess, but in principle it has merit.
The trading mechanism gets the farmers back in the game which gives them a chance to make money and the casuals to buy some items.  Being able to sell rare stuff really does wonders for the economy (Turdbine included with their 30% margin on ASAH).

Mate, I think your idea is a good basis for legendary items without the creativity starved devs having to start from scratch with a whole heap of useless junk like we've been getting lately!    Wink

1. An update of nothing but bug fixes. Just to see what they break in the process.
2. A redesign of every rule in the game to bring it more in line with the mother game.
3. Another update to fix all the shit they broke doing #1.

It's true that they have moved far away from the core of DnD, but it is an MMO - the mechanics of PnP are just not suited to an MMO.
The repetitive static nature of an MMO makes it predictable - you can't "farm" in PnP.  Another example was introducing 4 enhancements per level was to help keep players hooked/motivated as the gaps between levelling increased.  Otherwise the sense of progression was very slow for the many casual players.
PnP has the benefit of cunning GM's, storytelling and role playing.
MMO's whilst having the benefit of bringing the imagery yo life on your screen, are very two dimensional (for most people) in comparison.

I don't agree with most of what they have done, but I understand the need to customise components.

1) max level raids.
2) max level non recycled raids with loot sets and no dupable crap.
3) hard max level non raid content to flag to said raids.

Other than that I'm good. I got used to inventory issues, bag issues and that sort of stuff. But seriously, content is key, I don't get how people can be satisfied with the current endgame.
