Personal experience with GMs?

Without naming them, have your tickets with GMs been good experiences?

Mine have. Since my return I haven't been baiting people in General chat to get them to say anything reportable like I did years ago. I used to waste the GMs' time.

My last two tickets have resulted in receiving lesser hearts. First one because my LR did not acknowledge my +6 Supreme Tome until after I relogged and the other time because I had misplaced one.

In the latter even my GM even sent me a LR timer bypass and 6 cupcakes for some reason. They've been super nice, too.

Sometimes I wonder if it's because I spend so much money on this game. Do you think GMs can see that stuff? Think it affects your level of support?

Post your good/bad experiences with GMs below.

I wish I would have thought about it, but I did NOT give them credit for being such prissy little bitches as to get their soft-brushed, Pima-cotton, lacy white panties in a bunch over motion pictures marketed towards an 8-12 year old target audience.

He'll get over it.  It's not like this is much of a spoiler anyway (which totally justifies the act of spoiling).  Anyone who thought about it even a little already knew that he's a jackass and has added him to their ignore script.

GMs didn't ban me when I red-texted "[TurbineGM]: WORLDS CLOSING IN 5 MIN, LOG OFF NOW" in the middle of Aussie's player-run event, so they're good by me.

So much Turdbine gravy swallowing.
The holidays are over, you don't need to eat fresh GM ejaculate with every meal.

A lot. It totally killed the event. To be fair, I did it perfectly. I used the newline character so that the thing was on its own line, and it was formatted exactly like announcements like that are. I've been out of DDO way too long to remember the exact format. I knew it by heart then because I was always fucking around in raids like that, making it look like people said things they didn't.

I was also pretty big on talking about the "/death count" command, particularly if I had to wait around too long at the end of part 4 of the Shroud. Oh man did I piss off some folks there. It was awesome.

Dear Vault Forum,

I’m a 8 year DDO player and I never thought I’d be writing to the Vault Forum, but recently I saw an encounter with a  GM that involved some of the dirties role-playing I have ever been party to.

It was early morning down by the harbor when I saw....

I guess that can be used for rolls too? Because a roll of 98 won't win a "D100 high" on a good raid item when certain people are around.

It would be risky for that. Rolls show in both party chat and general chat. If someone has both turned on and you only mimic one, they will notice and vice versa.

The most reliable things to mimic are things that you can naturally type in, like party chat or user channels, so that a user's custom chat colors are used. A quick "<br/>(Party): Your party member, Tank, has died." in chat can cause confusion.

Thanks a lot for this info, I don't mind people trying it but want to be able to let them know I saw what they did Smiley

Finding new ways to get people to type /death (insert random lie here) was the best. Now it can be interrupted....

This is one of the reason why they almost killed the color stuff. ( there's other reasons, like coding monkeys and sloppy work )

Those in the know have ways to still do colored messages...
