Got more AC, HP MRR and PRR. The last 2 is what makes you survive. Cancealment and elusive target are the same. Spell resistance, really? You're kinda trying hard on this one no, but still... same for pally/ranger/fighter.

Bluf doesn't matter, they cleave. If not having the aggro was the key, then I could dump con because we always have a tank.

Come on get real guys.. Are you serisously suggesting melee rogues survive as well as paladins, fighters (BF) and rangers? Now you are suggesting they are even better at surviving there? Seriously?

But their worse problem really is the lack of AoE, that you don't talk about. If you can only do decent damage on single target, and only in specific conditions, and you are not even close to the best builds on single target (and those builds also have better AoE and some other advantages), that is the only thing you do... how the hell is it flavor of the month?

Taking 3 hits instead of 2 before dying is not impressive. The best way to melee is not getting hit in the first place. 48% dodge is the most valuable thing on that list. I did forget to mention improved evasion, but dodge is still more important.

If you're not convinced now, just wait for reaper. Not getting hit in the first place is better than any realistic amount of PRR or HP when the lowliest trash mobs can hit for 4k+.

The fort saves on many of the mobs are low enough in LE shroud to take them with Assassinate. He's not gonna take a troll or a warlord but taking a 50k hp mob off the board with one hit is non-trivial.

Is a warlock necro-caster better? By far. But it doesn't do the dps of the rogue so I feel like its a legitimate trade-off.

Have seen it in action. I know that it works.
