Keeps the game new and fresh to nerf stuff from space and bring up useless other stuff. Monks have had an awesome run for many years off and on in this game.

I just started playing again and they are going to nerf my class? another two year vacation lurks around the corner.

Did anyone else find it hilarious that Rapid Attack (T1) doesn't work with animal forms but Blessed Blades (T5) does? Given Rapid Attack doesn't have an animation associated with it, something tells me this was an intentional doublestrike related nerf much like removing doublestrike from Natural Fighting.

The best part is that the idiots still think Henshin are the highest DPS stick builds.  It's like they're trying to confirm they really don't know how to play their game. 

They actually think Henshin stick builds are overpowered compared to other melee builds and still need to be nerfed even if not as much as Shintao.  The good news is the risk involved in pissing off that demograhphic is pretty low.   It won't be a big loss if all 5 Henshin staff players quit.

It's as if they've never seen a proper Silvanus maul build, a tempest ranger, a DPS/SA spec'd TWF rogue, or a good Kensai SWF/TWF/THF, all of which roflstomp a pure Henshin staff build in DPS.  From eyeballing it, I'm pretty sure a Kensai quarterstaff build would out damage a Henshin. 

Kensai get an average of +45 melee power, better and more action boosts (Haste), +21% doublestrike, better +Dmg, the same bonuses to crit profiles, and far better activated attacks.  Even better would be to drop the capstone and splash 2 rogue for Thief Acrobatics (15% stacking attack speed) + Quick Strike (25% doublestrike bonus 10 of every 12s), higher stats and maybe a couple SA die.  Oh, and ITEM DEFENSE, which is a huge QoL bump on a quarterstaff build.  Why did Henshin not get Item Defense on the last Henshin update pass?

Kensai can also use heavy armor with the Stalwart Defense stance bonuses for more HPs and durability while in melee range.  If you go the 2 rogue splash route,  you also get xp bonus from trapping.

They should just pay a few of the builders on these forums to build and do DPS testing for them and balance based on that.  Hell, they could probably *pay* with free VIP subs or DP and enough people would do it to make it far better than the train wreck their current testing is.
