I glance at new posts every day or two to see if the dev tracker will return, or whether the devs will emerge from the cone of silence that dropped at the same time as the enhancement pass "alpha". U18 - two F2P, one P2P (for suckers who buy expansion 2). From Cordo: Quote: "Stuff you'll hear about tomorrow related to the expansion, the Disciples of Shadow quests, a new cosmetic bibs system, skill tomes, an invisibility fix, elixirs of healing (heal over time potions), quest fixes (including a fix for seals and shards in the Web of Chaos) and more. We'll have full release notes tomorrow. " Later on, he states that elixirs of healing are not store only. I haven't interpreted much TurbineNewSpeak lately or visited Lama, so I don't know what that means: can anyone just buy them from a potion vendor, are they are a favor unlocked item, a rare collectable turn-in item, or are they� just like other store-only items (eg, mummy elixir) that drop in chests once in a blue moon.

	Totally uninteresting. The quest chain is heroic only (and terrible XP), so it'll get run once for favor and flagging and that's it. Unless they're going to make the heroic loot comparable to epic loot, this update is a complete waste of time :/

	bladeforged just happened to be on preview on Lama at the same time as u18, but they are supposed to be included in the expansion.

	As for the elixirs of healing, they are already in game ( Dryad sap whatever... Vigor = Heal Over Time ), so it's not really something new... They are just a pain to collect. ( killing poor dryads in the King Forest, or from time to time looted from a chest [potions of Vigor] )

	Seeing as how the Bladeforged can only be first lifers (you cannot tr them and cannot tr into them), I came to the conclusion not long ago that they are simply a newbie trap. I've been hearing rumors about a Shiradi proc nerf from 7% to 3%, but that's total hearsay and I'll believe it when I see it. I thought I'd read Varg mentioning that they'd decide on the xp for the heroic level quests (lvl 16) as a final step. Something like that. I recall looking at the lammy feedback where people were attacking the horribad xp in them. I am curious about this expansion. After all the grief though caused by the things they failed to mention that came with the last one, I'd rather be shot than pre order it. Especially when it will go on sale a month or two following actual release for 50% off.

	Shiradi nerf would absolutely kill all caster builds, that would be the stupidest thing they could do right now considering how low build diversity is at the moment.

He said that they would tweak the XPs, and that the XPs we saw were 'placeholder XPs'. He also hinted that it would just be a tweak, so don't expect much. The only Interest in these quests is that they give PDK Favor IIRC. 3) depends on the package around the pre-order... if there's a few otto boxes and/or several levelling gems people might buy it just for that.

I don't believe that shiradi is a better destiny than the other top destinies (fotw/LD). Melee toons have significantly more DPS, can be self sufficient ala juggernaut and can pull out manyshot when needed. I really think that shiradi is overrated it's just that it happens to be the only viable caster destiny atm.

Problem is though that anytime historically the torches and pitchforks come out in the forums the devs break out the nerf bats. There were a lot of threads focused on Shiradi before the forum switch. Many with astronomical exaggerations in them...
