This is definitely happening, I've experienced it myself, and it's not the same as it used to be last year after MOTU (last time I was playing before U19), you are definitely "glued" to the floor, even with max jump. Not sure I'm that bothered about it, even with an active combat style, it just requires you to not be perfectly surrounded on all sides, but still, it's yet another thing that really didn't require a fucking "fix".

I definitely experienced it..

And lets just say that it wasn't fun... And for me it's something that was added after U19.1 or 19.2, as I don't remember experiencing it before.

I can probably live with it, even if it's annoying as hell, as long as it doesn't become the glued in place when in combat stance from NWO.

I had this happen to me... thought I was lagged out or something else going wrong... luckily I was on my Juggernaut build, so I jjust cleaved my way out... would be bad for a squishy type though.

Happened to me last night on my Kensai G-Axe toon; jumped into the middle of the skellies on EH Lords of Dust to give 'em a good cleaving, couldn't jump out again.  I think this turned up in 19.2, as I'd run that quest at heroic levels just before and didn't have any problems whatsoever with the same move.

I've had this problem too.  I'm OK with it.  Most of the time, I like crowds of mobs I can cleave, BB, Drifting Lotus, or otherwise mass destroy.  If you can't handle being surrounded, don't let it happen.

This is very annoying playing a caster, grabbing aggro and not being able to escape...at least Wail is working, so thats been my escape plan so far

I don't think it'd be even that easy for Turbine to pull of the coding of the rules from the DMG.

That's new?  I remember being pinned (by often as little as just Hrolk himself) in Diplomatic Impunity against the wall upon which his chest spawns waaaay back.

Could get out using varying different methods except jumping (because of the little overhang on that stone).

I never let myself get completely surrounded, though; so it might be that I never had the chance to actually see the difference.

The main thing most of you newer people need to remember. Even if a bug is fixed now, 90% of the time in an update/patch or two later, the bug always comes back.
Just look at saga. It broke they turned off. They fixed and same patch/update it was broke.
Or even bag bug, they have fixed it 10ish times since it first came and it's been back 10ish more times after it was fixed.

Yeah, this. It's worse than wasting time on PvP, at least SOMEBODY might play a little more with a PvP enhancement, NOBODY is going to play more because of this garbage. This was the most important thing you could think of to work on? really?

I think the worst was when they did the whole UI revamp and made mail notification icons only visible if you had the large character icon.

It's like some utter moron ordered the large icons, and then got laughed at for wasting time on a feature too few people were using. So he wasted MORE time forcing people to use them by making that the only way to see if you had mail without walking up to a mailbox. Yeah, he showed us! Do you even know which hole to wipe after you crap out this stuff?
  

Turdbin, keep changing the DDO rules, because McDonalds sold over 200 billion hamburgers by changing the recipe for their Special Sauce every couple of months to keep interest up.

I think the (one of many anyway) problem with Turbine is there's no direction from the top. Devs implement whatever the hell they want with no oversight and no consequences. Look at Feather running amok for the last year plus, culminating in the current completely FOSed loot system.

Actually, Fernando -> Glin -> Rowan... the top keeps changing and the FNG doesn't have either a long term plan or exposure to the legacy he's walking into.

New boss, new direction. Repeat ad nauseum.
