That would cause you to lose your Tier 5 Warlock enhancements.

So thanks everyone for this thread.  Great stuff here.

Currently running a 13lock/4fighter/3barb and love it.  Dire Charge is a game changer.  Not only does it effectively give you a targeted dash which is super helpful on the slow tree, but it also gives you another cleave to add to your rotation.

I dropped WW attack on this build so that I could get max/emp and still run more of a normal "lock" build when i was leveling off destiny.

Here's my last thought.  Wouldn't some int based build using know the angles and perhaps at least a few wiz levels (maybe majority) work out nicely?  Add that wiz cleave and then 1/2 your int modifier for stun dc...might be nice.

That bit about the wizard got me to thinking about maybe using pale master and ek, but you're still missing Shine Through which is a huge survivability piece.

Maybe 12wiz/5lock/3barb? You know what scratch that, 11wiz/6lock/3barb.

Highlights:
Supreme cleave
Eldritch cleave
extended Tenser's
can get 20 prr from Eldritch tree relatively easy (to make up for losing fighter levels)
can take level 6 ES core (20hp and 10 mrr in med armor)
Shining through and Brilliance (twice con score to temp hp every 4 seconds)
Warlock aura as well as death aura to proc AoN stacks
Know the angles for 1/2 int mod to dmg and stuns

You'd be losing a lot of hit points, however. Base fighter hit points as well as stalwart defender.

It's been my experience in Legendary content that you have to have a huge stack of hit points. I currently have around 1300 on my 10 F/7 Lock/3 Barb. That hits around 2000 with temporary add-ins. That's enough to get me through the LH content no problem. On LE it's a lot more rough even with 240 PRR.

Ya to be honest with you LE content now doing 2k hp a hit I'm not sure tree build can cut it.  I'm not sure any melee build can honestly.  Although if any can it would be this one as the hope would be to get the dire charge DC up so high that everything is perma stunned while you take it down.

I'm about to TR and might just end up going with a caster.

Wiz levels loses fighter feats so you lose WW attack.

WW cool down is much faster.

That makes sense I think. I tell the difference in normal playing conditions, but I've noticed when running scripts a measurably higher failure rate due to lag when ship buffed vs not ship buffed.

Dear players,

The D&D rules you were familiar with were too simple to understand, so we're continuing our move away from them to needlessly confusing subsystems that will make your play experience less fun and invalidate old builds and loot. We hope you have fun working out what the fuck MRR, PRR, MP, SP, RP, CL, MCL and all the other bullshit we made up whilst drunk means.

Love,

People who don't know how to fix their own mistakes cleanly

Delete - testing shows En Pointe not working in AoN form for someone else, it does work in Wolf form though.

Dunno yet, wiki says it is similiar. Been using it on a druid, and liking it so far.

I've gotten six attack rolls at 33% double strike so far in tests. Not seeing 7 in heroics, need off hand double strike.

I'm currently leveling a 12/4/4 Ranger/Pally/Warlock. I've managed to shoe in WW, GC and ISM.

Planned AP's are 21 DWS, 32 TEM, 24 ES + 3 for killer or dance of death (haven't made my mind up yet).

Twists: sacred ground/Confront any foe/consecrate + whatever

I thought I was onto something but en pointe has me thinking...and at my rate of leveling, (wife and kids really put a dent into my gaming time), it'll be another couple of months before I'm at epics.

Confront has a way shorter cooldown than en pointe but limited charges. Does en pointe doublestrike?

Yes, it should be attacking twice, which for TWF shapeshifted is 4 hits, but I'm getting up to 6 in heroics. Offhand double strike at 10% may add a 7th hit in epics.

It is a fair replacement of supreme cleave or monk WW, so it opens up tree builds for more classes.

Ranger/bard can be done with 12/2 split for ranger crit and fight TWF in and out of tree, or 6/3 split for swashbuckling crit and fight SWF out of tree, and TWF in tree.

So far monk, barb, pali, fighter, bard, ranger, cleric, Wiz, and Sorc all make solid tree builds. That just leaves arti, rogue, and FVS as unknown for me.

Ok. New plan then. 12/7/1 ranger/bard/warlock

Twist confront any foe, bane of undeath + whatever

That means I'll have cleave, great cleave, whirlwind, confront any foe and en pointe.

And for icing self cast displacement. Yay.

En Pointe is like Supreme Cleave and Strike Down in how it works while shapeshifted.

It is a double small AoE cone hit in front of you with -1 multiplier, and +12 range.

Ranger 12 > Bard 2 > Warlock 6
Race: Any
Stats: Dex as per feats, Int as per feats, Str as per feats, Rest Con, all levelups in Con.

Weapon: Axe of Famine(18-20x4 base)

Enhancements

ES 23 (Aura, Brilliance, PRR, MRR, HAMP, Med Armor)
SB 8 (En Pointe)
DWS 23 (20% DS, 5 MP, 1 range)
Tempest 21 (10% offhand, 1 multiplier)
5 Free

ED: Primal Avatar with Consecrate/Sacred Ground/Flurry/ICE

En Pointe (main hand double attack) small AoE Tree Burst w/Axe of Famine@ 30, 6-20x3:

Tilo, since this build can't afford WW, and no barb for (2) supreme cleaves, you're losing 3 cleaves. En Pointe also has a 12 second cooldown, so my question is what are you doing until your 3 cleaves are off cooldown? Auto-attack? Shocked

Gathering more mobs!

It does lose a few cleaves, but En Point crits on 6-20x3, and double hits.

It should act like a small AoE kill.

So with 50% double strike, 10% offhand double strike, 80% offhand will hit 2.4 times.

Axe of Famine is 18x4, 19-20x6, or x165% dmg.

Base dmg is (71(2d8) +61) = 700

150 Melee power is 250% damage

Human Action Boost is x120% damage

Black Dragon is x1.05

Symmetric Strikes is x1.05

Vulnerable is x1.2

Put it all together: 2.4 x 1.65 x 700 x 2.5 x 1.2 x 1.05 x 1.05 x 1.2 = 11k Supreme Cleaves with Axe of Famine.

Several questions, did they break trees even further?
Does ww with wraps still proc a hit for every strike d strike and offstrike?
Does kta still not work with tree form as you are considerd unarmed and kta never worked with that?
Did they nerf palies saves bonus to make it per palie evel?
Is there anything new gear feat etc wise that can further improve a tree?
Did they add tomes above 7 in game?
If yes

Can you buy it from store?

If anyone got patience to answer those questions to me pls pm and ty very much

Issue i have currently is gear optimization, it strikes me that i have for the first time in my ddo career the slightest clue where to start.
Also wtf is with that lv 29 ep destiny feat, melle power on spellcast?
Did they made that feat for trees or what was else the idea behind that?

Anyone have a gear setup for the current up 31 trees?
/monk trees not that barb bs

Anyone test out which of the kensei stuff works with trees? Specifically interested in the crit mult/what animations the new attacks use.
