A humble request

I've been lurking the vault for a couple years, I enjoy the community and that it's a haven away from Jerry's stupidity. I've never really had any need to post until now. I have a friend who is premium. He would really be able to make good use of the quiver of alacrity, but since he doesn't have shared bank he can't make use of that widespread exploit to get one. I highly doubt anyone would be willing to inform me how to mail BtA stuff, but that's not really what I need to know.

If any kindhearted individuals with more exploit knowledge than myself would happen to just be willing to mail my friend the quiver so he can use it, it would be really appreciated. I don't know what I could offer in return.

How about this, Jerry has avoided the whole MockDuck thing for a long time since he got outed on this forum, but I noticed that yesterday he made this tweet that I found amusing
https://twitter.com/JerrySnook/status/716703761054437377

Anyway, I figure that this mailing BtA is a well kept secret, and it's likely that the individuals who know it may not be willing to take the time to go get the quiver, craft the arrows, etc, but I figure that it doesn't hurt to ask nicely.

Put item in shared bank.  Simple.

I see you missed the part where he is premium and doesn't have access to shared bank.

I don't understand, I don't think you can sell an item on one toon and buy it back with another. Or can you?

Don't understand. And it's obvious there is not a way to move a BtA item from one toon to another without shared bank or exploiting. So again, not necessarily asking for exploit knowledge, just seeing if anyone would  be kind enough to mail a quiver.

I honestly don't think Jerry ever comes here, it'd probably be a very emotional thing for him and he is probably already depressed enough as it is.

So I figured to myself "ah screw it, I'll just pony up the cash for him and buy shared bank space. Turbine really doesn't deserve it but it will be the easiest way". Then I logged in to the store and lost my shit. 995 TP for the most basic shared bank space? The fact that there's no option to buy less space shows what kind of fuckery they're pulling here. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason the quiver exploit has endured for so long is because they're holding out the hope that schmucks like me will pay them $20 just to be able to get it.

Well, when we first started playing I spent $20 in TP to get him Artificer and have some points saved for essential adventures, like gianthold. He enjoyed the game so he bought MotU and Shadowfail when they were dirt cheap. Since then he has used most of his TP on good adventure packs and a dexterity tome, and I get him through most everything else on guest passes. 995 TP is a ridiculous amount of money to get the ability to trade a bound to account item to another toon, the whole thing is a scam.

I've got a much better offer than "gratitude" if anyone "in the know" wants to PM me Wink no need to share the method, if you know how and want a few things slightly better than gratitude I think we can do a deal.

Shared bank is a lot of utility, but only the first 20 slots.  After that, it's more efficient to buy more character slots, especially since they removed the ability to scroll through the entire bank all at once without the left-right bs we have now.

Two heroic TRs starting at 1 and running everything once on elite through Dreaming Dark will earn enough TP to pay for shared bank (at 1495tp), plus you get to play the game, which isn't horrible.

Buy shared bank.

I actually found it was worth my while to max out the shared bank, but only because I am insanely lazy and having another 130 conditionally-useable inventory spaces was worth the obscene price point(I cry when I think about how much I spent). I tried getting buy on the initial 20 for a long time, but the constant logging in/logging out/forgetting what character I left crap on got to me.

Buy shared bank. You won't regret it.

The most broken epic PL in the game is the ridiculous AC buff from martial PLs. But when you include all the inherent benefits from reincarnation, the thing is above the roof. The benefit from TR was supposed to be minimal, but now it is game breaking. start a new character and you will feel, you will get raped in heroics.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

Have you EVER gone to Law School Feyn? Have you EVER been asked by a United States Senator who is now the Vice President of the United States to write a paper just for him on a particular topic of Constitutional Law for his use as a Senator? Have you ever been asked to help a very notable Harvard PhD turned Constitutional scholar with his very-well received book on Legal Philosophy and Constitutional Revolutions? Have you ever been offered a job as a Deputy Attorney General BEFORE you even graduated Law School?

No? Then STFU you fucking amateur.

He only uses the one character, I know it's unusual but he has absolutely no interest in toons. The only utility the shared bank would have for him is for the quiver, and while the quiver is nice, it isn't worth 20 bucks, or that much grinding for favor. That's points that could be put to use in much better ways, like adventure packs. And right now I don't feel like being generous to Turbine with my money, with how they've been handling the lag situation.
