What are you talking about? You take shit so serious that I have pitty. "the Torch" ROFL
It's ironic that this reply indicates just how seriously you take this.
I spent 10 years playing DDO. I spent 8 of them focusing very hard on builds. I spent 3 of them focusing on thrower builds. I have some of, if not the most viewed/replied to build threads for throwers on these and the mobos. I have shared everything I know or tested, openly and clearly. Few people, up until the time I stopped playing, knew things about throwing that I did not. Few people had a main, who they played 90% exclusively for 3 years, only in various thrower builds, getting completionist and epic completionist.
There may be people who have played throwers longer. There may be people who had better thrower builds they did not share, or allow people to criticize and discuss openly. There may be people who could have contributed far more thought and experience with throwers than I ever did, who simply never contributed it publicly anywhere.
If there are, I wish I knew them when I was playing. Some notable folks who contributed greatly to my knowledge of throwers and other relevant mechanics were CThru, Munkenmo, Poppy on Khyber, Ret on Khyber, LordTigerDawn on the main forums, Tilomere (though he/she is a little schizophrenic at times).
When I say take the torch, I mean publicly adding useful dialogue about thrower build so other people can learn. I don't care if you know secret exploits or bugs that you think are rad and you exploit on a build. Good for you, but if you don't share them they aren't much good to anyone else. They're also probably temporary.
Rubbins testing these things and posting them added usefully to the discussion. I'm just commending him for that. Lots of people don't do that on these forums.
