Back in 2010 I posted a thread complaining about people fucking around during trades. The sort of people who don't undertand that others just want to efficiently trade according to the standard buyer/seller/advertising system. I'm talking about those who keep trying it on after a trade has been agreed to, with just the physical exchange of goods remaining. Those that will sit in a trade window for 5 minutes taking last minute offers.

The kind of douchebags noone ever wants to waste their gaming time fucking around with. This isn't just exclusive to DDO either, anyone who has any experience in games with an economy will be familiar with this phenomenon. Being relatively new to the game, perhaps a couple of months in at most, I encountered one of these people during a trade. At that stage, I had no idea what twink items were or their supposed value, I was still fairly new to DDO.

Some have agreed and some have disagreed on the actual value of a Ring of Feathers at the time, with some players dismissing the idea it was valuable at all. Being the newb that I was, I needed a featherfall item and saw a guy advertising one in trade chat. Looking back, he obviously knew what it was, he was a TR and selling it individually as a novelty item. I accepted his offer and went to meet him in the bank, where I spent the next 10 minutes standing in an open trade window, before withdrawing his offer.

I took a screenshot and posted a thread here about those types of players, who do that type of thing. The Vault being a troll pit, the usual suspects immediately jumped on it straight away, but you decided to go the extra mile and use that post as the basis to construct a set of similarly miscontrued fictions by which attack my integrity well into the future.

It will be interesting to see what tangent you come up with next to try to justify it. What I am most interested in is how this 'everybody' you so often like to talk about (Eladiun, Stainer, Gawna etc.) have mostly been outed as stalkers, bullies and sociopaths and gone into hiding, forcing you to think twice about which names to drop as validation.

My original post is obviously the only piece of 'solid evidence' you thought you could bring to bear in support of your allegations. You must realise how absurd that looks now, as I obviously wouldn't have posted that if I was trying to scam someone.

The fact that you immediately jumped to the conclusions you have, only further supports my position. All the circumstantial evidence points to my side of the story being accurate. Occam's Razor and common sense even support my interpretation of events. The only conclusion to be drawn from this is that you are a despicable character who enjoys slandering people.

Ring of Feathers was going for 1 million plat back then. The ML on Feather Falling was 5 at the time.  The named item that drops in STK was the only one in the game.  This was before the ML was changed for all feather falling to drop with ML 1. 

You wanted to buy it for 5k.  While, in general, I agree that trying to renegotiate at the last minute is poor form, in this case, given that you were so far below market value, it was appropriate to make a fair deal.  If a fair deal could not be brokered, cancelling the trade was also appropriate.  If you had offered, say 900k, or even 850k, and the guy agreed and then tried to haggle and eventually backed out, you would have a point.  Those offers would be in the range of fair.

I don't recall who the other party was and don't have the screen shot to see, so I don't know if they should have been able to make a good judgement.  I do recall that there was a big discussion about the other party being a new player, not a TR. 

As I recall, you also made a deal and reneged on it, later with me.

There was another incident with some Armored Bracers that another player brought to light. 

Your reputation was not cemented on one event.  There was a series of events over a period of time that convinced the populace that you were of suspect character.  Most of the posters here were not around then, but you are still the same Astraghal.  I'm sure your true character will show itself all on its own.

I'm good with dropping this ancient history and letting people decide for themselves based on how you handle yourself going forward.  Your mental instability is already evident in several posts.

That didn't go down very well at all among some of the more energetic alpha trolls here. I have made no bones about the fact that it was open war from that point on. You cannot attribute the vindictive campaign I waged in the game and on the forums to me being an innate cunt, even if that were true. I was being savagely attacked and slandered by a bunch of internet bullies in a video game and its forums, what did you expect?

If you had any bad experiences with me after that, you fully deserved it. I hate cunts who gang up and harass people for laughs, it's a really ugly thing to behold. It's spineless and cowardly and those who indulge in it deserve bad things to happen to them. If I can help facilitate that, then all the better; I knew what had to be done and I did it.
