Epic Elite saves? (Read 6838 times)

	What kind of Reflex saves do I need for traps in an Epic Elite? Also what about mobs throwing fireballs? Wanting to go either 16warlock,2pal,2rog or just 16warlock,2rog but not sure if it would even be worth it. I wonder what half the damage of some Reflex save trap would hit for in an Epic Elite... Never done one. Just hit 20 again yesterday.

	traps are nothing in ee. unless youre in haunted halls or epic 3bcove. then you're prolly dead unless high 70s for hh traps and like over 9000 for 3bc.

	Ahh the traps in 3bc on EE reminds me of the days where i was a rogue on heroic elite and wiped the whole party for blowing the trap box if you didn't come prepared

Play warforged warlock pure, addy body, you'll have 4% spell/eldritch fail by epic BUT aura is not affeceted by it, and spirit blast/bursts have such a low cooldown, it will still be op. Addy body with proper PRR items can give u 50% non-magic trap dmg resistance, and you can just use shining through for another 12x constitution score hp to survive those traps easily.

	So if I went all CON and DEX on a 18warlock,2rog and put my points into CON and left DEX alone aside from gear, and I was Fey, would my Evasion help me through most EE quests? Even if I fail taking half damage is better than full and having all that HP is nice... Just curious how often, if ever, I could expect to make the saves with that.

	I would probably rather go warlock 20. As a warlock, you can have significant MRR (particularly if you invest in Enlightened Spirit enhancements for medium armor, and carry a shield). This makes reflex saves less important.

Max Int, level ups into int, max con.. With insight reflexes you will have plenty for EE, and can take the epic flex for no fail on 1s in you wanted. Warlock needs its Int for spellcraft. more spellcraft = more dps. Warlock 20 is optimal. the 2 rogue doesnt help any at all in regards to warlocks dps, or survivability at that. 20 warlock gives 30 spellpower in total from ES capstone, or more crit dmg from souleater.

	I tried to solo Sins of Attrition on Elite and was doing just fine and had over 1200 HP, right? Well it has been a few years and I totally walked into that room that blasts you into the air and I got killed on the spikes faster than I could even react. I just died. I didn't stand a chance because it made me hit them so many times. If I had Evasion I probably would have survived that. Yeah I forgot I could do that. INT does sound like a better idea. I want to be one of those sexykai races and have a pretty lavender mohawk so that's another reason I want to go 2rog with it. Pump all points into Spellcraft and Perform... Also currently the only named gear I have is a Minos Legens and a Mantle of the Worldshaper. I don't even have a +6 CON item yet. I think warlock levels too quickly and this is my first time being VIP and like I didn't even have to do any slayers I just leveled fast. The game got easier for herioic that's for sure. What's some stuff I should zerg through for gear before I TR? (planning on getting the EPL for 3% crit chance before I TR for 2nd life)

If going sdk, fine take the 2 rogue.. but you are gimping your dps by doing so, even if its for fasion. Traps deal half dmg with a save without evasion Traps deal no dmg with a save and evasion, full dmg with a failed save Traps deal half dmg with a failed save with improved evasion, and no dmg with a save essentially you are losing ~50 spellpower by going rogue 2

	Three years ago splashing for evasion made sense. That was before PRR. It was also before warlock. Let go of what you think you know and try a pure class Warlock. If you must have the cosmetic from SDK, do it as a Mechanic.

	Aw man that really sucks. I wanted a decent build while being warlock and SDK. I mean human looks.... kinda okay, elves have prettier faces but look like spooky skeletons... The SDK are like playing Christy Mack.

Just as a note to Dispel, the above is not WAI. It's on the known issues list and could be fixed at any time. ASF should affect aura.
