this was a large issue on the steam network, and probably many other international, internet based, intangible goods distributors

An example: Russian region "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" was 18 USD. US region was $60. So kids would hit up russians, and be like ill give you 25 for a copy of ghost recon future soldier, saving 30 bucks, making the russian 7 bucks, and losing steam a big chunk of money. it resulted in a shit load of accounts getting neutered in the same fashion as this guy.

assuming that ratio stays true, i know one of the point packs costs 60 bucks. wouldnt it be nice if you could get that for a mere 18 by using a vpn to connect from russia or getting expansion packs from a russian contact for a 1/3 of the price?

There were players a couple of months ago that were from Ukraine that were unable to use TP, even favor earned TP.

As far as I know, their problem never got resolved.

Turbine must just have blocked the whole country lazily rather than spend the time to only implement sanctions to the bits where it applied.

The Falklands, aka los Islas Malvinas, aka Les Iles Malouines... got their names from the City of Saint Malo... Sailors coming from this city established a colony there...
( St Malo people are called Malouins/Malouines in Frog. )

Now if the United Kingdom of England and Northern Ireland wants to give them to their rightful owner : France, I'm sure we have room for them in the TAAF ( that's the official denomination for all our territories down below, puny things like the Kergelen Islands )

These two statements are entirely different.
The first statement overlooks the fact that the Falkland Islands sit off the coast of Argentina, and likely have extensive trade with mainland Argentina despite it being a British Colony.  Whether you agree or not, Argentina claims sovereignty over those islands.  So the Falklands does have something to do with Argentina.

I think you may have misconstrued my former statement, where I was making a geographical connection between the two, not a political one.  Given we were talking about the Balkans, I thought it prudent to characterise where the Falkland Islands are as many may not have even heard of them, but Argentina is better known.

Your second statement is an opinion, not a fact, despite the exclamation mark.   It is but a supposition, and many Argentinians would disagree with you.

You obviously have some significant passion on this subject and I have exactly none, so I shall leave you to lead your anti-Argentinian crusade over the Falklands.
